This is a horse who was purchased from George Scott, he is full brother to Wootton Bassett rated 120 who won a Group 1 and £514,000 in prize money.

Barton Mills used to be a horse who was prone to over stressing which could cost him his races. He is now in our pre-training centre and he has settled down perfectly, this is something we’ve done with countless horses. Most famous of these is Bosham, who has won us 12 races since our ownership started, but his old connections couldn’t handle him.

Barton Mills absolutely thrives in his work and any problems he had have been sorted now. We are extremely excited to have him on the track with his current rating of 80. We won’t be surprised at all to see this horse be rated 100+ at the end of the 2019 season.
