Chester Le Streak 2024-2025

Chester Le Streak is a two-time winner over 5 and 6 furlongs with lots of natural speed and a gutsy attitude. He was born on the 15th of April 2019. He came to us as an 8-month-old foal in the December, he soon settled into Cottam Grange but he was not an easy horse to work with. He would question lots of things but with time and patience, he has turned into a nice horse with a great attitude.

He is by the stallion, Hot Streak, who was successful at Group 2 and Group 3 level out of two time winning mare, Serena’s Pride who was also placed in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot. From his Sire and his Dam there is a lot of speed in his family.

He did not run at two years old, this was because he was having big growth spurts and if we were to run him we would have come across issues. We did the right thing and waited until he was three years old to be on the track.

After a couple of runs, he soon got the hang of things and shortly after won his first race at Carlisle over 6 furlongs showing a gritty attitude to make all and win gamely. As a four-year-old he had improved, not finishing out of the first four and having an impressive win over 5 furlongs at Beverley showing blistering speed from the front.

Chester Le Streak had to have a year off after his campaign in 2023, this was because he had a severe case of mud fever. He has spent 2024 at Cottam Grange and has had multiple vet visits to keep an eye on his progress. He has fully healed up now and we plan to carry on where we left off with him.

He will now be trained by Seb Spencer, who has been our most successful trainer giving us six wins in 2024 with Crocodile Power and Desert Dream.

Seb is based in Malton, North Yorkshire. He has newly built state-of-the-art training facilities which have made him skyrocket this year and continue to do so in the future.

How is my share payment broken down?

The share price is £65. There will be nothing extra to pay, no matter what costs are incurred during the syndicate period. The capital cost for Chester Le Streak including commission, transport and vetting is £14.25 per share. The capital risk is £2.50 per share. Our current management fee is set at £14.25 per share. The all-inclusive racing/training cost is set at £14.20 per share. The cost for mortality insurance is £3 per share. The Cottam Grange Rehabilitation contribution is £3.80 per share. The VAT is £13 per share. *All fees based on estimated cost excluding the capital risk. No extra cost will be incurred by the customer.

1- All shares are sold on a first come, first served basis.
2- No additional payments will be requested in relation to the horse during the prescribed syndicate period, regardless of any costs incurred by The Racing Emporium.
3- Race prize money won by the horse or proceeds from the sale of the horse are divided equally in accordance with the number of shares owned.
4- All owners will receive a monthly email keeping them updated on the progress of our horses.
5- All new owners will be posted a share certificate within approximately 3-5 days of purchasing a share.
6- Stable visits can be booked via our website when available, and are free for an owner to attend.
7- The Racing Emporium is a Ltd business.
8- Shares can only be registered to an individual aged 18 or over. A share can NOT be registered in the name of more than one individual..

This syndicate lasts until 1st November 2025. At the end of the syndicate period, you can choose to renew for a further term or we will attempt to sell your share for you. There really is no obligation whatsoever after the initial fee. This syndicate is divided into 4000 shares and each share costs £65 (including VAT). There will be nothing extra to pay, no matter what costs are incurred during the syndicate period. The syndicate is subject to the usual ‘The Racing Emporium’ terms and conditions. The current maximum number of shares that can be purchased by one person is 10.
