Desert Dream Renewal 2025

Desert Dream is an 11-year-old gelding by the stallion Oasis Dream, he is a versatile 7-time winner who’s won on All-Weather, Soft ground and Good ground.

Desert Dream came to us in 2018 from Sir Michael Stoute’s yard after maiden stakes at Windsor. He has gone on to win multiple races at Catterick, Redcar, Carlisle and Wolverhampton for us proving to be an ultra-consistent, fun racehorse!

2024 was his most successful year to date as he won three races and finished runner-up once. His first win came at Redcar in May when winning by three lengths under Alex Jary on soft ground. His second win came at Catterick in August where he won by over four lengths on good ground. Also landing a 100/1 double that day with his stable mate Crocodile Power. His third win was again at Catterick when he won cosily under a cool ride from Dale Swift.

Seb Spencer is the trainer of Desert Dream, Seb is a young up-and-coming trainer who is set to have a busy 2025. He currently has 30 horses in training and is still expanding his operation after having a very successful 2024 sending out 11 winners from 17 horses.

By no means does Desert Dream run at the highest level of class, but he does show a high level of consistency running every race with his heart on his sleeve which has given his owners lots of fun through the years.

2025 is likely to be the last year on the racecourse for Desert Dream, he has had a fantastic career and he’s shaping up well in his training and looks ready for another busy year.

How is my share payment broken down?

The share price is £32.50 There will be nothing extra to pay, no matter what costs are incurred during the syndicate period. The capital cost for Desert Dream including commission, transport and vetting, is £8.50 per share. The capital risk is £3 per share. Our current management fee is set at £6.50 per share. The all-inclusive racing/training cost is set at £5 per share. The cost for mortality insurance is £2 per share. The Cottam Grange Rehabilitation contribution is £1 per share. The VAT is £6.50 per share. *All fees based on estimated cost excluding the capital risk. No extra cost will be incurred by the customer.

1- All shares are sold on a first come, first served basis.
2- No additional payments will be requested in relation to the horse during the prescribed syndicate period, regardless of any costs incurred by The Racing Emporium.
3- Race prize money won by the horse or proceeds from the sale of the horse are divided equally in accordance with the number of shares owned.
4- All owners will receive a monthly email keeping them updated on the progress of our horses.
5- All owners will be posted a share certificate within approximately 3-5 days of purchasing a share (unless it is a renewal).
6- Stable visits will be available, which are free for an owner to attend, and you will be notified when dates become available.
7- The Racing Emporium is a Ltd business.
8- Shares can only be registered to an individual aged 18 or over. A share can NOT be registered in the name of more than one individual..

This syndicate lasts until the 1st January 2026. At the end of the syndicate period, you can choose to renew for a further term or we will attempt to sell your share for you. There really is no obligation whatsoever after the initial fee. This syndicate is divided into 2800 available of 4000 shares and each share costs £32.50 (including VAT). There will be nothing extra to pay, no matter what costs are incurred during the syndicate period. The syndicate is subject to the usual ‘The Racing Emporium’ terms and conditions. The current maximum number of shares that can be purchased by one person is 10.
