Born on 17th February 2023, Frio is an exceptionally classy, proven and good-looking grey colt by the outstanding stallion Havana Grey, out of the mare Guarded Secret. He hails from a family packed with talent, being closely related to top-class performers such as Vandeek, Elite Status, Beat The Bank, and Kachy. Frio was offered at the 2024 Goffs Premier Yearling Sale, where the hammer fell at £140,000 — making him by far the highest-priced and best-bred horse ever acquired by our team. Frio is also the most expensive horse to be ever offered in this syndicate model in Europe. To date, Frio has run twice, making his debut in a Class 2 novice stakes at Musselburgh over 5 furlongs, where he produced a highly encouraging performance to finish third behind Dickensian — a colt who went on to finish runner-up in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot, and has since held his own at major festivals such as Glorious Goodwood, York, and Doncaster. Despite losing significant ground at the start, Frio stayed on powerfully and was arguably an unlucky loser in a race dominated by front-runners. His sire, Havana Grey, has been a revelation at stud — a Listed winner at two, a Group 2 and Group 1 winner at three, and already the sire of multiple stakes performers including Vandeek and Elite Status. Frio’s debut effort suggests he may have shown even more raw ability than Havana Grey did at the same stage, and with his sire’s progeny known to improve markedly with age, Frio heavily resembles his sire, he is poised to develop into a top-level performer at three, with the potential to follow his sire’s path to stallion status in time. Frio is the most premium horse we have ever offered, and one we firmly believe can carry us to the biggest racing stages, with Royal Ascot already in our sights. How is my share payment broken down?

The share price is £99. There will be nothing extra to pay, no matter what costs are incurred during the syndicate period. The capital cost for Your Filly including commission, transport and vetting is £16.10 per share. The capital risk is £2.50 per share. Our current management fee is set at £24.30 per share. The all‑inclusive racing/training cost is set at £22.85 per share. The cost for mortality insurance is £2.30 per share. The Cottam Grange Rehabilitation contribution is £1.35 per share. The VAT is £19.80 per share. *All fees based on estimated cost excluding the capital risk. No extra cost will be incurred by the customer.

1- All shares are sold on a first come, first served basis.
2- No additional payments will be requested in relation to the horse during the prescribed syndicate period, regardless of any costs incurred by The Racing Emporium.
3- Race prize money won by the horse or proceeds from the sale of the horse are divided equally in accordance with the number of shares owned.
4- All owners will receive a monthly email keeping them updated on the progress of our horses.
5- All owners will be posted a share certificate within approximately 3-5 days of purchasing a share.
6- Stable visits will be available, which are free for an owner to attend. You can book in via your online account.
7- The Racing Emporium is a Ltd business.
8- Shares can only be registered to an individual aged 18 or over. A share can NOT be registered in the name of more than one individual..

This syndicate lasts until 1st June 2026. At the end of the syndicate period, you can choose to renew for a further term or we will attempt to sell your share for you. There really is no obligation whatsoever after the initial fee. This syndicate is divided into 4000 shares and each share costs £99.00 (including VAT). There will be nothing extra to pay, no matter what costs are incurred during the syndicate period. The syndicate is subject to the usual ‘The Racing Emporium’ terms and conditions. The current maximum number of shares that can be purchased by one person is 10.
